Jana Indica is an Indian Heritage City platform offering authentic tourism experiences and stories. The Platform features destinations of cultural and natural heritage, specially curated tourism content, and authentic cultural/ wellness/ spiritual experiences– also offered online as Virtual Tourism and Online Pujas / EPujas. We serve the culture-hungry and proud people of India and the world.
In addition to places, Jana Indica involves and features prominent local faces and people- its living history- utilized as both a experience provider network and an illustrious host community stakeholder brand. Big network ambitions today must seek to be informed and aggregated by smaller grassroot ecosystems.
The platform acts as a CollabCoop for creators, stakeholders and host-communities. Jana Indica is now live in the Pushkar- Ajmer area in Rajasthan, working with our rooting partner Friends of Pushkar, drawn and curated from business, cultural, government, spiritual and institutional parts of the community. Friends of Pushkar helps us provide seamless hospitality and authenticity to the experiences we curate and provide.
As a response to Covid, the initiative is promoting virtual-online and regional driving tourism. The latter is promoted on the Delhi- Alwar- Jaipur- Ajmer/ Pushkar, Udaipur and Ahemadabad corridor. Post-covid tourism will be drawn to nurturing culture, spirituality and nature experiences in intimate and clean non-metropolitan cities.
Background & Process
Jana Indica creatively unlocks Indian heritage cities, and in turn civilization itself, via a locally-rooted Media and Tourism Experiences platform. We have a 50+ international cities background in city-planning, architecture, arts, business, and communication. We love cities, we know the importance of leveraging eco-systems, and what ingredients are needed for socially, economically, & environmentally successful places.
We identify, reach out to and put together local public, private and institutional leaders and stakeholders- the roots of sustainable city development. We thereafter collaboratively identify incremental and responsible ways of encouraging the local economy/tourism, including via authentic local experiences, thereby directing awareness, traffic and benefits to local stakeholders, and opening up access to cultural centers and civilization itself.
As Urban Designers, we bring in global insights for sustainable city-planning & urbanisation, curated tourism, memorable place-design, and a stakeholder-led revival and upkeep. As facilitators, we connect trade partners, CSR companies, institutions, investment, and new skills towards meeting the goals of the region, city and the local stakeholder group.
