
Naga Pahar- Pushkar
Located between Pushkar Lake and Ajmer, the Naga Pahar hill is believed to be the place where sage Agastya Muni lived. It is said that this is the Naag Kund/ lake that was home to Vatu, Lord Brahma’s notorious son who stayed on the hill after he was punished by Chyavan Rishi for being a mischief-maker. One can visit the cave and hilltop that is famous for trekking and spiritual walks. Naga Pahar offers a fantastic view of Pushkar city from its top and has frequently been utilized as a vantage point for shooting pictures. The locals believe the legend that the height of hillock has been decreasing over the years and it will eventually vanish some day in future.
