
Nareli Jain Temple- Ajmer
This marble temple is dedicated to Adinath, the first lord and founder of Jainism and is a sacred Tirtha of Digambar Jains. Built in 1994 by the industrialist Ashok Patni of RK Marbles, Nareli Jain temple is a contemporary rendition of a Jain temple along with 23 smaller temples atop the hill, beautiful architecture and intricate stone carvings. The inner sanctum holds a large sculpture of a Tirthankara- a spiritual teacher of Dharma- and provides an excellent place for a quiet prayer. Also known as Gyanodaya Tirth, it is known for fulfilling wishes and bringing prosperity in life. Constructed in the Aravali ranges, the view from the top is breathtaking. Nareli Jain Temple is located about 20 minutes east of Ajmer.
