Description
Pushkar is well known as a place of spirituality, where one might attain moksha. Apart from the 500 temples, it is also home to Gurudwara Sahib, a mosque and a synagogue. Pushkar was visited by Guru Nanak Dev during his travels in Rajputana in 1706. The spot consecrated by the Guru’s stay was called Gobind Ghat, but has now been renamed Gandhi Ghat. The shrine commemorating the visit was formerly called Guru Nanak Dharmasala, now housed in a double-storey beautiful building. Close by is The Chabad House, a large complex with a synagogue, a large garden, a Mikvah. Join Inder Narayan Sharma, a national level certified guide, walk you through these places while you understand worship on a spiritual level.
